I completed the drawings for this chapel while working as an intern architect for Schickel Design. I worked directly with Martha Schickel converting design intent into construction drawings with AutoCAD.

This small project was casework heavy. I was given the design intent from the project architect and was responsible for creating the construction drawings as well as the shop drawings for the casework fabricator. As part of this process I was tasked with determining the best way to route wiring within the "prayer wall" and come up with connection details for the suspended ceiling grid and other furnishings. Under the direction of the project architect, I assisted with the final selection of lighting hardware for the various elements of the space.

While with Schickel Design, I also handled all of the small firm's bookkeeping responsibilities. My small business background enabled me to efficiently handle the firm's accounts payable and receivables, payroll, and tax obligations.
